Remote Board Meetings: In response to the Coronavirus crisis, California Governor Gavin Newsom has issued Executive Orders N-25-20, N-29-20, and N-35-20 to facilitate public meetings being held through remote methods, such as telephonically or electronically. Meetings of the Marin Community College District Board of Trustees will be held electronically and telephonically via Zoom. In an effort to control the spread of COVID-19, this meeting will not be physically open to the public. All members of the public may participate in the meeting via Zoom. The following public comment procedures apply for these remote meetings. Public Comments: Members of the public wishing to comment on an agenda item or another topic within the jurisdiction of the Board of Trustees must utilize this form to submit a comment in advance, following the procedures below. Any topic not within the jurisdiction of the Board of Trustees will not be read into the record. Procedures: Members of the public must utilize this form to submit a comment in advance, no later than one hour prior to the start of the regular or special board meeting. Comments on study sessions item must be submitted in advance, no later than one hour prior to the start of the study session. Please submit an individual comment for each item you would like to address. Public comment is limited to 3 minutes per speaker (calculated at approximately 300 words). Comments will be read aloud by District staff for the record, up to the time limit of 3 minutes.
