Request Information Literacy Instruction Library faculty at the College of Marin are committed to providing faculty, staff and students with the information literacy skills needed for success inside and outside of the classroom. Library instruction sessions reflect best practices in effective and engaged teaching, and relate directly to student learning outcomes. Library instruction is tailored to your course/assignment. Please attach the assignment and/or course outline. Please schedule one to two weeks in advance to allow the librarian time to prepare for your course. Information Literacy Instruction can be scheduled at the Kentfield or Indian Valley Library. Please check the library website for hours and note that sessions will need to end fifteen minutes prior to closing. Also, plan to accompany your class to be an active participant during the instruction session.
